Hi list,

I am not an expert, but I am quite sure that the circumflex characters 
has to do with settings in the e-mail program on one end or the other. I 
didn't see that anyone of you mentioned which e-mail program you are 
using. I do personally use Mozilla Thunderbird as my preferred e-mail 
client, and it handles various character sets fine right out of the box. 
Mary's circumflexes looks strange here too, though, and I guess you 
should have a closer look at the character set used in your e-mail 
client, Mary.

OK, slightly off topic from the usual Optacon things, but I couldn't 
resist commenting on this. :-)
