How do you get the screen set to be able to read it? I haven't done that
since I did it at work, and then someone made sure that it was readable.

You probably can't get a CRT lens unless somebody is selling one. They are
extremely hard to get because they haven't been manufactured since 1995. I
usually just use my regular optacon lens to read the screen.
