Janet,
This is off topic, and I can't figure out how to send private replies with
this e-mail client, so I hop the rest of the list will pardon me for sending
this paragraph.
I've never had a Gateway PC, and did a search on a couple sites. This one
attracted me because it has eleven USB ports. I've been able to plug all my
stuff in without using a USB switch or hub. I still have a few empty ports
too. Also, when I turned it on for the first time, I discovered, via the
optacon, that Windows was already installed and activated; so I turned on
Narrator and breezed through the initial setup, which only involved
answering a few questions about my account name, computer name, time zone,
and one or two other things. I had previously used Windows Easy Transfer
software to save my account and settings info from the old computer, so I
installed it on the new one.
