Encryption of OTA signals is perfectly legal, as long as there is one program in the clear. If, however, you charge for that encrypted signal you will need to send the FCC 5% of the revenue you generate. This will be equally true for the mobile service unless the FCC changes its' rules.


You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org
- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
