I am still very surprised. You would think they would prefer H264 but I
guess they know what their boxes can currently handle.
Also, at the bit rates cable channels prefer these days I'd guess they
would get a better picture sending 720p/60 instead of 1080p/60.
But if they really want to for some reason then I guess it is possible,
and they would at least have bragging rights. Very strange. Is it on a
sports channel?
