Sorry, I should have said "a major /cable/ network".
Why? Because they very much want to. Someone

The devil is in the details:

The sample rate for Main level at High P profile = 125,337,600/sec

The maximum sample rate for ATSC = 62,668,800/sec

For what purpose will the networks start to uplink 1080@60P in 2010?

What equipment do the network have that produces and processes this format?

What are network affiliates going to do with it?
