Expect to see better content on OTA in Germany as the rest of the country comes on line with DTV. >And in the US, where cable and DBS households are >already being supplemented by NTSC OTA, or ATSC, >this should also be the case. Affordable receivers help and analog turnoff forced the had of analog TV users but content and ease of reception are more important. I can make a case for more expensive receivers before I can make a case for inexpensive ones that don't work. I can make a case for good content before analog shutoff. Poor content and no one would even notice analog turnoff. LG has decided to not even offer a 5th gen stand alone receiver if Rich Peterson is right. They as always are more interested in selling high margin HD set and if the only way you can get a 5th gen receiver is in one of theirs well it sure doesn't help the competition. MOMENTUM!! First of all you have to start moving. We are looking at another year of glacial OTA sales if 5th gen is not available. >The UK experience is different.
