Gratuitous negativism.
The Philips and the coupon STB designs are probably no more than 6
months different. It should be GOOD NEWS that things are improving at
this rate.
The ATI Xilleon chip had been around perhaps 1 year before the Philips
was designed.
You should expect as S curve in improvements, not linear.
