Your point is moot since this is a walled garden. As for not trusting it... maybe you shouldn't trust the platform it runs on. JS exploits thrive on windows because 90% of users have administrative level accounts and the OS is Swiss cheese to boot.


As for getting it out fast... embedded Js for stb platforms has been around for quite some time. Most stb platforms do *not* use the same engine as on your desktop for obvious reasons.

What a load of nonsense. Obviously the engines are not the same as the
one in your browser. More likely it is severely stripped down like a
baseline JS 1.5 spidermonkey, for example -- no network comms
