such a loyal MVPD subscriber as you are, how has the "competition" among the
tiny number of MVPD options changed this reality for your MVPD service? It
doesn't. They simple mimic each other's bundles and prices.
Yet, over the neutral Internet, you won't find this behavior among web sites or
OTT sites AT ALL. For some weird reason, you think it was ordained to be thus.
So you really piss your customers off,
No more than you're pissed off when your "bundles" are bloated and priced the
same as the supposed "competition's" bundles. You need to understand that
"competition" among broadband providers is NO DIFFERENT from "competition"
among MVPDs has been, for any given household. The number of options is
minuscule, if any at all. THEREFORE, what occurred with MVPDs would occur with
the Internet.
You seem to have missed this, and yet it's rather obvious. Just as
obvious as the fact that had telephone lines NOT been neutral, back
in the 1990s, the telcos would have much preferred to be your local
monopoly ISP.
They were Bert. You had to have the landline service.
CRAIG!! Wake up, will you? Those phone lines were Title II. Mandated neutral.
That's why the ISPs, riding on those lines, were just as competitive as web
sites and OTT sites are now, riding on the neutral Internet. Quit arguing in
circles, for heaven's sake.
