I get all of this in real time on my iPhone.

I can get all this in real time for *free* with over the air television broadcasting and I don't own an iPhone since both the device and the subscription cost much more than maintaining my *free* TV reception system.

Hmm. I guess this make me part of "its all about the money".

And you still have a POTS land line at home and do not have a cell phone right?

It's not just the money, although economics is a major factor. It is the value received for the money spent.

It's not like TV is really FREE either. We pay at the cash register and now via cable and DBS bills.

Enjoy the "free ride" while you can.
