Yes. And this plan succeeds only because consumers let it succeed.

I get a real kick out of trade journal scribes who write columns opposed
to things like the CableCard. Or "cable ready" sets in general. It's
hilarious. It's like they're begging to get raped, and haven't even
figured it out. Or maybe, they are being paid to write this stuff.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
