I don't know whether this site's information is still valid, but it describes how you cannot get the TV networks' full length episodes on Android tablets, unless you load an appropriate app from the MVPD! Which kind of misses the point entirely. http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/130052-watching-tv-episodes-tablet.html For iPads and iPhones, according to this, dated March 14, 2013: http://www.imore.com/cbs-launches-app-streaming-full-episodes-shows "CBS is the last of the major US broadcast networks to offer its own streaming app. NBC and ABC have each had an app for years, and FOX launched theirs last fall. CBS has historically been slow to embrace the internet, but this offering is a step in the right direction. While the eight-day delay is less than ideal, CBS is finally providing users with content on a more flexible viewing options than in the past. The CBS app is available for free right now on the App Store as a universal app for both iPhone and iPad." So again, why is this collusion necessary? CBS seems willing to make full length episodes available for eons, only a few hours after the show airs, on PCs, but you only relatively recently are able to stream to iToys, with an 8 day delay? I get a kick out of how people assume these devices are being "blocked." This is entirely the fault of tablet makers, who refuse to conform to standards. A tablet's screen is plenty large enough to allow use of the same framing as any PC, or even any connected TV. How much do you want to bet that these shows play just fine on a Surface Pro tablet? Without Microsoft having to beg, all subservient like, to CBS? http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/surfwinrt-surfgetstart/surface-windows-pro-hulu-free/8c687136-3210-4189-a374-15e5b9663eab Oh yeah, I just won that bet. So much for the networks "blocking" tablets.
