The parking garage at BWI airport hasn't moved. All of those chosen test sites, real world tests witnessed by scores if not hundreds of television engineers, have been documented, and the Baltimore DTV stations are still on the air. All it takes is to bring the Nth generation receiver out to those sites, or even the FSS (Famous Schubin Site) and try to duplicate the results witnessed lo those many years ago. Better yet, tape a dipole to a stick and just wave it around in your own living room and see what happens to your own ATSC receiver.
