I've used Manzanita's mux in my previous job. Nice product but expensive. I had asked them about H.264 and VC1 at NAB, but got a guarded 'maybe'. A big part of their niche is knowing how to deal with the idiosyncrasies of certain MPEG-2 digital cable boxes which has got to be shrinking as encoder products get better. I wonder where they'll go next. >I assume this is not a hobby level project because the >Manzanita stuff is not cheap. Not hobby level, but a small consulting job that probably won't support the $4k to $6k price of Manzanita's MPTS products. gary ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
