If by "sourced" you mean mastered, there is a fair amount in Hollywood, both
movies and some TV series. 4K is starting to be used in digital theater
projection, but very little 4K is released to the public. And almost noting
broadcasters do is 4K - sadly much of the live sports offered today is still
interlaced 1080. The OB folks are using special gear for slo-mo that is
progressive scan at higher frame rates, but 4K is nowhere in sight.
While there is some noise about 4K content for all of the new 4K TVs, the
reality is that most "source" is HDTV at best and is likely to stay that way.
The sweet spot for mobile streaming is now 480P. My guess is that 2K (1080P)
with HDR and WCG is where content will move over the next decade...
