No, actually it says that 25% of households have no legacy MVPD subscription.
There's some small percentage of households with no TV, so it's pretty clear
that something less than 75% are going to be MVPD households. Is it 73%, or is
it 68%, the numbers aren't that far apart.
The article did not give all the percentages, clearly. For example, read it
again, it says how many households are exclusive OTA TV, and how many are
exclusive Internet. That leaves a large number, like me, who use both. What
happened to that number? Did they assume we must be MVPD subscribers? So, no
telling what the actual number is. I have to believe that Internet plus OTA
households are more numerous that either exclusive category.

I only saw one, Craig, and I explained how the sweet deals swell the numbers.
Here's a sweet deal for you. Yesterday I got a blurb from Verizon in the mail.
The blurb claims that for a 2 year contract, and for a promise of the same
price for three years, I can get FiOS with Internet, telephone, and some sort
of TV package, for *LESS* than what I'm paying now for ADSL and telephone.
That's some sweet deal, eh? How hard is it to imagine that households would buy
that deal for the faster Internet and cheaper total price, and then drop the TV
after the term expires?
Verizon is quite literally paying households to pick up their TV package,
Craig. Do you think that might affect the stats, at least short term?
