But that's beside the point.

The issue here is whether content sources, streaming media sites, are 
"blocking" certain devices, as Craig claims. Well, BS. They aren't. It's the 
devices that don't support the standard protocols, whatever those protocols 
are. Flash was the first device-independent streaming protocol designed for use 
in web servers, rather than dedicated media servers. And it's still ubiquitous, 
and it's still the default protocol. (I've tried removing Flash, and sure 
enough, the PC will sometimes stream with something else, and other times show 
nothing. But when Flash is installed, it prefers Flash.)

There are two different discussions here. Whether Flash will last for all 
eternity is not the issue. The issue is whether the web sites are blocking 
certain devices, or whether certain (incompetent) devices are blocking the 
content. It is patently obvious that the devices are the problem.
