Yes, Craig, I predicted that you would get confused by this. Everything
depends on understanding the subject within a context.
You mean the context I have been claiming is possible for several years; the
same context you have claimed is not possible with IP?
Read RFC 6726. It describes a scheme called FLUTE: File Delivery over
Unidirectional Transport. This isn't the IP you use on your PC, Craig,
although I'm sure it could be installed.
Funny how the impossible has now become possible when it suits your arguments.
Makes one wonder why you have ignored this reality up until now.
I told you many, many, many times that IP overhead can be added for one-way
broadcast pipes. But much of it is wasted, or merely reinvents what MPEG-2 TS
already allows. Did I ever say this was impossible?
Many times! To be precise you have always argued that IP requires a two way
pipe.
But thanks for FINALLY admitting that what I have been claiming is possible for
years, is in fact POSSIBLE.
Regards
Craig
