We're up to AT LEAST 20%, and most likely closer to 30%. Hardly "anyone." Even 
if they don't use these always, they rely on them regardless.

For OTA users, local broadcasters had a critical role before:
distribution of high value content. For MVPD users, they had a
make-believe role: let's pretend we own the content that the
MVPD sells.

Bull crap.

Wow, even the most freakin' obvious comments go over your head, Craig. Forget 
50 years ago. Today, local broadcasters pretend they own all the content 
retransmitted by local MVPDs, pretend they require consent for retransmission 
of that content. In fact, all the local broadcasters own are news/weather 
programs, or other occasional locally produced content. Not the high value 
content that the MVPD subscribers scream about, when it goes missing.

The reality is that the MVPD systems have become the local
sales/service/billing agents for the congloms.

Talk about crap. What does that have to do with the local broadcasters? 
Nothing. The MVPD can collect the fees, then mail the check to the congloms. Oh 
yeah, just as the OTT sites do! What a revelation.

With ATSC 3.0 they will have the opportunity to expand their reach
via the Internet.

You're just parroting the propaganda that you don't even understand, Craig. 
With NTSC and ATSC 1.0, they can do exactly the same thing! The congloms 
figured that out ages ago.
