Is DirecTV Now an Internet TV service, or not, Craig? If DirecTV Now is already
an Internet TV service, then what could possibly be surprising about offering
it also on wireless broadband? I can't begin to understand what confuses you
about this.
If Sling TV, or Netflix, or Hulu, are offered from a wireless broadband ISP,
how would this be surprising?
5G service from AT&T is being tested initially as a broadband service **to
homes**, i.e. a fixed service. So what is strange about it carrying whatever is
available on your cabled broadband service? Nothing much. It's only true that
wireless broadband does not have any neutrality mandate, so that might be the
ONLY wrinkle. But, since AT&T owns DirecTV Now, they can do whatever suits them.
In short, Craig, somehow you got confused by this. But there's no reason to be.
