Bert: I got my wife a Kindle Fire for Christmas. Much cheaper than the
iPad. And it synchronized with her other Kindle.

Do you think the Kindle Fire is equivalent?  Maybe for eBooks but doesn't
the iPad do a "few" more things than a Fire?  (put "few" in quotes because
I really mean a "bunch")
