In TNT & DISH Network's HD press release (below) they state: "All programs
and commercials on TNT in HD will be presented in high definition, 16:9 wide
screen format and will feature 5.1 surround sound."

I would assume that does not mean TNT will only air HD commercials - just
the commercials which TNT receives in HD will be presented in high
definition, 16:9 wide screen format and will feature 5.1 surround sound.

Does anyone have more information about TNT running HD spots?

I do applaud TNT for even mentioning HD commercials. It is the first
reference I have seen to HD spots from a network HDTV launch!
