Gee, I guess all those field-tearing artifacts I was are because LCDs are slow.
How slow do you think the new LCD technologies
are?

To catch interlace artifacts, you'd have to be looking at a scene with motion.
LCD is slow, leaving visible motion blur. DLP has
what others are calling "temporal dithering". AND, very few sets with these
technologies have a native resolution of 1920x1080, so
there's scaling happening, on top of deinterlacing.
With all those factors taken into account, how can anyone possibly conclude
that the artifacts they're seeing are due to interlace?
