Quite true!

The HTML5 spec is still not finished or approved.

But the momentum is growing.

I remember the early days of the developments that led up to Adobe acquiring
Macromedia, which eventually led to Flash. Many things have taken far longer
than I expected in the '90s.

At least Adobe has seen the light and is now focused on HTML5. There's still no
end in sight for the stranglehold that the media and MVPD congloms have on TV
content.
