My question is, when ads show people who have flat panel TVs hanging from a
wall, why do they always show that panel way up in the air, close to the
ceiling? And everyone watching TV craning their necks to see this little panel
hanging up there, close to the ceiling?

What's wrong with the notion that the screen should be at eye level, when the
viewer is sitting down in his normal viewing position?

I know, this doesn't answer Tom's question. I do remember seeing something
about Sezmi quite a long time ago.
