Another one of Craig's unfounded proclamations.
Markey made a point that has been repeated multiple times, and evidence
provided: Title II has NOT resulted in reduced investment by the broadband
providers. That has been the argument made by our FCC Chairman, time and time
again, and that argument has been soundly refuted. The fact that this one
Senator repeated the point does not make it invalid. I have posted the numbers,
and many others have done the same.
That there isn't enough competition, enough for the broadband industry to
self-regulate, has little or nothing to do with Title II. This is just another
example of back-asswards logic. Title II is a consequence of there not being
enough competition, not the cause of it.
Stubborn adherence to formula thinking, in the face of clear evidence to the
contrary, is not a good thing, Craig. And linking one guy, Markey, to a bunch
of unrelated and verbose stories you dream up, doesn't change the facts in this
case of neutrality mandates. Maybe Markey has opinions on spaghetti with pesto
sauce too, that you disapprove of, which are equally irrelevant.
