I did not agree with what you wrote because you were wrong. OTA usage
(ratings) are declining.

You are wrong in assuming that OTA usage is the same as ratings for the TV
network shows, Craig.

The fact that more people are cutting the cord and adding an antenna
to receive OTA broadcasts DOES NOT mean they significantly increase
their use of OTA programming after cutting the cord.

What nonsense. If you install an antenna, where before you had none (did not
use OTA TV), your use of OTA has increased infinitely. Any increase from 0 is
infinite, Craig. And infinite is pretty significant.

OTA usage overall has about doubled, maybe more than that, in the past 6 years
or so.

It looks like the main TV networks and the cable networks declined by just
about the same amount (12 and 11% respectively), at least in 2015, while the
OTT sites gained. But one would expect that the TV networks' drop would level
off, as the trend continues.

Still, you completely missed the point again. The question here was whether
people would be pissed with a change to ATSC 3.0. Obviously, this will affect
more people today than when analog TV went off the air.
