This is because many NTSC TV sets demodulate R-Y and B-Y, rather than I and
Q as originally intended.  The fault is not in the system, but rather in the
cheapening up of receivers.


You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
