Both 1920 X 1080 at 24p and 1920 X 1080 at 30p are
certainly included in Table 3, as is 1920 X 1080 at

I think your confusion is in using the "30i"
designation for 60 fields per second, interlaced.

So, for example, if a TV station were to broadcast an
HDTV movie as a single program, or even a prime time
show shot on film, there's no reason why they couldn't
use 1920 X 1080 at 24p. On average, this should take
up just slightly less bandwidth than 720 at 60p.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
