People also buy books, as opposed to checking them out at a library.
Both models coexist.

People who buy complete seasons on DVD do not use that as their sole
source of story-telling entertainment. Maybe they do it to "collect," or
maybe they do it to see shows they aren't otherwise receiving. You can't
assume that this sort of pay per view model will replace the other
models. It won't.

THESE MODELS COEXIST BERT.

This is not going to change.

What is going to change is the ability to access specific shows directly, without having to buy a huge package of content, most of which you do not watch.
