Perhaps, but as Silvio mentioned, this is not the same
model as cable. For example, how will this model help
to deliver the Superbowl in real time to the entire
country?

Questions on DRM will of course also keep this model
in check, as Kon mentioned.

And also, for this p2p to work, each end user needs lots
of bandwidth. And hey, let's not forget, what if the
system's last mile is built out of passive optical
networks (PONs)? That would look much more similar to
today's cable plants than any notion of a mesh of
active switches right to the household.
