That's been my thinking too. Then it makes me wonder what the congloms
will do, if this really does come to pass.

For example, if enough people drop out of MVPDs, will the congloms
decide that perhaps some of their MVPD-only offerings should now also
become available OTA? For ad-supported programming, you'd expect the
congloms to recoup some of the lost revenue resulting from the reduced
MVPD subscriber base if they compensate with OTA viewership.

However, let's get real, there's no way that will happen in the US. My
bet is that OTA will retain some level of interest, but I doubt any mass
exodus from MVPDs. People are amazingly creative when it comes to
rationalizing their MVPD bills, I have found.
