I don't know what you're referring to here, because it certainly doesn't appear to be what Steve Jobs thinks. My guess is that Steve Jobs doesn't want the iPod role diluted into that of a simple radio. Maybe with Sirius reception, people would find a lot less need to prerecord anything. Karmazin is clearly trying to show growth. Jobs doesn't seem interested in having his iPod compete with potentially much cheaper portable satellite radios. Also, it fits the current iPod model, right? You acquire the content via a separate device and transfer that content into the iPod.
