Unfortunately the HME SDK is Java based and doesn't run natively on the box. But writing code in any other language is easily achieved (interfacing may need a stub-app): - The linux kernel is at http://www.tivo.com/linux/linux.asp - http://tivoutils.sourceforge.net/ has cross-platform build tools With the two of these and little effort, you can be writing and compiling your own applications in no time.
