He certainly cares about both DTT and OTA. He has been a regular on the broadcasters panel at the HPA Technology Retreat and will be there again on January 31.

WASHINGTON - TV industry veteran Glenn Reitmeier will head the U.S.
digital TV standards group in 2007.

The Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC), based here, said
Reitmeier has been elected chairman of its board of directors. Reitmeier
has served on ATSC's technology and standards group and was a member of
the HDTV Grand Alliance which developed the U.S. DTV standard.

Reitmeier is vice president for technology policy, standards and
strategy for NBC Universal.

New members were also elected to ATSC's board, including Jay Adrick of
Harris Corp., John Godfrey of Samsung and Craig Todd of Dolby Labs.

Reitmeier has been active in efforts to promote digital rights
management schemes needed to protect copyrighted audio, video and
broadcast content from unauthorized use.
