An ISP being sued because it DOES NOT police its network and shut down music
pirates. The claim from the music industry is that the high bandwidth
capabilities offered by this ISP encourage people to pirate music.
So it looks like the music industry is not a huge fan of “Net Neutrality.” Or
at a minimum, they believe that ISPs have the legal responsibility to shut down
subscribers who use their networks for “illegal” activities.
Remember when Comcast tried to shut down pirates, and the Supreme Court told
them that there are legal uses for bit torrent and other apps used for piracy.
Now “stream ripping” is the “New Big Deal” for music pirates, as related in
