No, it works fine on highways. But it was not designed for mobile.
It was designed, as you know, to duplicate or improve on
the possible reception area of "big sticks" at no increase
in the power coming from the power company, at a rate
suitable for 1080 HDTV. For that it is BETTER than COFDM, by a
considerable (factor of three) margin. You simply refuse
to accept the requirements. That's YOUR problem.

May I suggest that you move to Europe and set up
a station? Then you can be happy! OR move to Europe
and manage to get a job with the monopolies that control
TV.
