My point is, your beef is with the digital power levels, NOT with 8-VSB. On this list, in which more than one individual seem completely unconsolable about the modulation debates now approaching 10 years old, the constant attribution of your potential reception problems to 8-VSB just keeps this tired old debate alive. There are far more interesting and productive things to discuss, now that analog shutoff is upon us, and that newer 8-VSB receivers are doing quite well.
