www.upn13sandiego.com FAQ still says XHUPN-DT plans to fire up on CH53 from 
mountains south of Tecate, Mexico sometime "soon".
 
FCC data base (search for "tecate") still shows CH53 reserved for a future DTV 
station located in Tecate, Mexico.
 
So where did you hear that MediaFlo was being transmitted on CH53 in San 
Diego...or maybe it was Tecate prior to launch of XHUPN-DT?
PS: Most people would include both Free-To-Air (unencrypted) and Subscription 
(encrypted, i.e. USDTV) transmissions as being "Broadcasting".
