www.upn13sandiego.com FAQ still says XHUPN-DT plans to fire up on CH53 from mountains south of Tecate, Mexico sometime "soon". FCC data base (search for "tecate") still shows CH53 reserved for a future DTV station located in Tecate, Mexico. So where did you hear that MediaFlo was being transmitted on CH53 in San Diego...or maybe it was Tecate prior to launch of XHUPN-DT? PS: Most people would include both Free-To-Air (unencrypted) and Subscription (encrypted, i.e. USDTV) transmissions as being "Broadcasting". ================================================================ John Willkie <johnwillkie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: I say this despite the fact that as of a few days ago, Qualcomm's Media Flo was available in San Diego, on Channel 53 (we have a DTV station on channeol 55 for the moment.) --------------------------------- Yahoo!
