It leaves the LG prototype on top of the heap in Mark's
apartment. It doesn't mean it's on top of the heap for
other conditions.
The LG had the correct combination of specs that finally
met what was needed there. For example, evidently 0 dB
echo tolerance was not of paramount importance, whereas
something else, like perhaps echo tolerance at -10 dB,
or the IM3 performance, or other such, are far more
critical in that location.
Now take the guy trying to receive a station from way
out there in the sticks. I would expect the -84 dBm
sensitivity of the Samsung would perhaps serve him a lot
better than the LG's -76 dBm.

Where dynamic echo is a big factor, and you're close to
the transmitters, of course.
