The LG had the correct combination of specs that finally met what was needed there. For example, evidently 0 dB echo tolerance was not of paramount importance, whereas something else, like perhaps echo tolerance at -10 dB, or the IM3 performance, or other such, are far more critical in that location. Now take the guy trying to receive a station from way out there in the sticks. I would expect the -84 dBm sensitivity of the Samsung would perhaps serve him a lot better than the LG's -76 dBm. > I will put my money on COFDM 2k ala the UK anytime.
