Belden rates the maximum length for HD-SDI and 3G-SDI to be 20 dB loss at
1/2 the clock frequency.

The very best cable seems to be 7731A (RG-11/U 0.4 inch diameter),
which is good for 580 feet with HD-SDI and 393 feet with 3G-SDI.

It depends on the cable -- but expect "A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT" from Belden at the HPA Tech Retreat in February.
