Uh, how is GM's stake in XM Radio a "conflict of interest?" How does that
interest conflict with any other duty of GM?

If you are against greed, I'm sure you never collected a dollar more in
salary from an employer than your actual costs, right? And, note that
"savings" or "retirement" isn't an actual cost: it's pure 'greed.'

Come to think of it, aren't you retired nowadays? The greed! The greed!

DAB is more than a 'modulation debate' since it requires use of L-band, a
band used in the U.S. -- at least for the moment -- by my BoostMobile phone.

Without greed, or the seeking of greed, there would be little innovation,
and no progress.

You, I believe, are engaging in idle idiocy in the posting cited below.

Could be. Probably is.

I couldn't figure out, again, why DAB would make FOTA radio any more
appealing than IBOC does. It's another one of those modulation debates.
If anything, you'd expect the other way around. IBOC makes for a trivial
transition, whereas DAB requires new frequency assignments just like DTT
does.

I don't know how well IBOC is selling, but I still hear it advertized
extensively on radio, and I happen to like it a lot. All it takes is for
more auto companies to install it, as some have started to do at last.
And here too, companies like GM with a stake in XM Radio will probably
be slow to install IBOC. Same-o same-o. Always these conflicts of
interest and greed at play.
