We know how well current COFDM receivers perform.  We know how little 
re-engineering is necessary to turn an Australian STB into a US DVB STB.

Please, Bert, even given our differing views, you're stretching.

I liken setting a hard cutoff date for NTSC without any acceptable STBs (or 
integrated receivers, I'll even go that far) in the market to jumping out of 
an airplane while still sewing your parachute.
