Hello, John Willkie: > I'm having a bit of a problem understanding the message below. Larry Bloomfield: > Another most interesting post - if only I could understand it. Mark Aitken: > Interesting discourse. As usual, beyond my understanding... Rob Koenen: > ???? Yes, thank you all for your comments... ;-) I have no idea why my message was encoded. Apparently because it contained something binary (i.e. non-ascii ?), and of course because of the wonderful intricacies of Lotus Notes. I'll never know what happens to my e-mails... :-( Oh well, there's still one guarantee: all spam comes through. If you, or anyone around you, ever suggests to replace your perfectly well working pop-based e-mail program with Lotus Notes R4, R5 or R6, let me give you one advice: DON'T DO IT ! I just read in this morning's paper that Bill Gates receives 4 million spam messages per day. At least he has the benefit of a whole department that filters his mail. Good for him. It just shows how important e-mail has become for us. Best regards, -- Jeroen +-------------------------------+----------------------------------------+ | From: Jeroen H.
