I can't easily date it either, but my suspicion is circa 1980, which is pretty late.

PAL mixers would indeed have been easier than component.

The dimensions are 430 x 399 x 177 mm. The text mentions the presence of
a handle to carry it easily. So this item at least did not occupy the
better part of a room. But i don't know when it was available for the
first time (one can see it already contains integrated circuits).
