Ok, so inspiration came from elsewhere, but in the case of the color
CRT, the path from the theoretical idea to a practical thing aimed at
the mass market seems such a difficult one that i would give much of the
credit to the american engineers that made it happen.

Now, i am surprised to learn it was not only RCA's doing and CBS already
made a working device on its own, thanks for this interesting piece of
