Try The Villages, zip 32159-5954. The homes are single story. Go to Antennaweb and see what you can receive, in a single-story home. Answer: Ocala, one station (Fox), 40.4 miles away.

The Villages IS located in a gap between markets. But you won't see many antennas there. The corporation that built the Villages went to great lengths to create an ENTIRE community. They built the cable system and operate TV studios that cover everything that happens in the multiple developments that make up the Villages. They operate a radio station that is dedicated to serving the residents. And they own the daily newspaper that is focused on their communities. Technically, Lady Lake - the town that existed before the Villages brought thousands of retirees to the area - is part of the Orlando market, and you can receive OTA signals with an outside antenna.
