My understanding from past research and discussion and in reading the DVB web page, is that the basic performance requirements are the virtually the same. I once had a copy of the DVB standard but can't locate it and the info is no longer available to non DVB members, as best I can determine anyway. As of two years ago, at least, my statements regarding the labeling restrictions are correct. Perhaps you can fill in the blanks...? -----Original Message----- From: tsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, December 06, 2005 2:11 PM To: opendtv@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: dalekelly@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: DVB Receiver Standard Dale The NorDig collection of specifications apply only to NorDig member countires: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. NorDig's specifications cover a number of specific requirements for DVB receivers which the members have agreed upon e.g. a logical channel number descriptor, MHP mifddleware, etc. My understanding is that the use of the DVB logo is controlled by the DVB Project.
