True, at very short range, though. Lots of different considerations to take
into account.
What's more, "we" haven't begun to make the best use of the standard, e.g.
using the much, much better dynamic echo tolerance that schemes like
McDonald/Limberg/Patel patented. Probably because the players aren't finding it
to their advantage. Better to get people addicted to umbillicals instead.
